Travel and Nashville Zoo Outfit

With the weather a little cool for April (low 50s), I packed a denim jacket and a couple sweatshirts for our little trip to Nashville. I also choose jeans and comfortable shoes as I knew our activities would include walking and time outdoors. I was pretty pleased with what I packed even though I did not wear the one dress and sandals I had brought along in case we went out to a fancy restaurant.

As I mentioned in my first recap post about the trip here, we ate lunch at a vegan restaurant called the Sunflower cafe, and I just had to take a picture in front as I coordinated with the big sunflower spools.

I was still a little chilly in this, but the sun came out while we were at the zoo, and it warmed up. I really loved this combination and loved how my “le Soleil” tee from Target perfectly matched my denim jacket and shoes. This was a very color coordinated outfit!

I actually had not planned to take blog pictures, but just a quick outfit of the day picture, but zoos can be a fun place to take pictures. I also got some nice pictures of the boys which will be nice for our spring photobook.

I have two belt bags that I tend to bring on trips as I feel more secure with my wallet and phone close to me. This one, I bought for our trip to the Republic of Georgia last summer. It really looks nice with everything from casual outfits to dresses. I like the multiple zipper pockets to keep things organized. I will be sharing one more outfit from our trip soon. Again, I hadn’t intended to take blog pictures of that second one, but couldn’t pass up the picture opportunities.
