4th of July Outfit Inspiration 2026
I love shopping my closet for 4th of July inspiration as you can tell from past posts ( summer patriotic looks, patriotic looks 2024 and here), so today, I am once again bringing you some ideas to remind you that you probably have more than one patriotic combination in your closet. Have you planned anything special for our country’s 250th birthday? I am sure we will head to our 4th of July parade and we will grill some yummy hamburgers (my secret recipe). I will have to pick up some sparklers for the boys and we will probably watch the fireworks from our big neighborhood hill.
Tulle Skirt

I have definitely moved away from wearing my Old Navy American flag tees of years past. Nowadays, I like a more subtle patriotic outfit and while I do wear a more casual outfit on the 4th, it is always fun to wear different variations of red, white and blue the days leading up to the 4th of July. I wore this to David’s bridal when I accompanied my Goddaughter who was trying dresses for her wedding.
Dress as a Skirt

This skirt is actually a dress, but after wearing it this way for church, I think I have found a winner: I will be wearing it as a skirt more often! It’s stretchy and comfortable!
Shorts and Top

This outfit might be one of my favorites: the blouse and earrings are pretty unique which make this outfit more fun in my books. But then I looked back and the two outfits above and decided I do love those too! I guess that’s a good problem to have: several favorites!
Tank and Skirt
Time for a haircut! Whenever my hair starts driving me crazy, it is time to schedule a haircut. Knowing that my friend was going to Latvia for a month, I knew I didn’t not want to wait that long. I usually wait 3 to 4 months and I just looked at my haircut highlights on IG and March 4 was my last haircut.
Bermuda and Blue

I thrifted this top in May or June, but had about forgotten it since it was not hanging with my short sleeve tops (I remedied that now). When I realized I hadn’t worn it yet and how light and airy it was, I knew it would work well for a mild summer day. Since it is an open weave I did add a fitted tank under for coverage. I choose some old and fun accessories for the red and white in this outfit. This was a cleaning house outfit as my parents’ house which is under contract needed a good cleaning (I hired my boys to help!).
Flowy pants

I still have a lot of the pieces that were featured in the past posts linked above, so I could still wear either the same outfits or a combo of any of those pieces. All of the outfits I shared today were worn in the past 10 days and I really had fun creating all of these patriotic looks. The tank in this outfit is one of my oldest thrifted pieces.
A bientôt!
