One tank 3 ways: Thursday Moda with Ada’s Elegance and Mommyhood Link up
First of all, I want to thank Ada for asking me to co-host Thursday Moda with her. Ada is mom to cute little Vivian and I have enjoyed reading her blog and following her on Instagram for a couple of years now. I think some of my favorite of her posts are her mommy and me outfits: since I have 4 boys, I do not really match very often with my boys (sometimes we do with camo or certain color themes) and I love all of the cute little outfits they put together. Vivian is a little fashionista herself and Ada often shares her school outfits. Ada is also passionate about different topics and things that we should be aware of so I enjoy reading her post for that reason too.
If you are new to my blog, I am a mom of 4 boys who grew up in France. I also lived a couple of years in Mexico City. I love to shop but also love to budget and save, so when I shop, I always try to make sure I can find many ways to wear a particular piece. My favorite blog posts to write are my travel posts (can’t wait to travel again) and my fashion posts when I copy another blogger’s look or share several ways to wear one item. Making sure your clothes are versatile expands your wardrobe! I thrift but I also buy new so I might buy something for $1 but also might buy something for $75 if I know I will get my cost per wear.
Today, I am sharing 3 different ways to wear my new royal blue tank: these looks could be easily replicated with any other colored tanks or tee.
Casual Look
I bought this tank in a pretty green a couple weeks ago and like it so much I purchased it in blue this past week. It is the Tasamo Loose Sleeveless top. The top is soft, washes well and drapes really well.
I wore this outfit on Tuesday and wanted to add a third color to my outfit so I added my coral pink Nickel and Suede novas and my pair of Tanuk Sandals. Talk about a great buy: I bought a few years ago in children size and have worn them to the beach, as slippers on trips or just out and about with casual outfits.
I love my French straw tote! I bought this last year at an outdoor market in the south of France and love the different colors in it. I put my tote organizer in it to keep everything in its place. This is a fun bag to pull out in the summer. It brings me joy and was less than 10 euros!
Date Look
I usually just add fancy shoes and fancier jewelry when my husband and I go out on a date. Talking about dates, we really need to plan one soon! White denim makes any color pop so I love to wear my white jeans on dates.
Gold cuff and gold earrings which I should wear more often! Snakeskin patterned sandals for some texture!
This is my only little clutch: gift from my bestie in France! Large enough for a phone and a few necessities. It can be use alone or in a purse for organizing different things.
Travel Outfit
If you know me, you know I love to go on vacations and to travel. And yes, traveling with 4 children is possible. I am willing to invest in pieces that I know will be great for traveling and such is the case with these joggers. They are about sold out at Norsdtrom but if you are a size XS, they are on sale for $45 in the truffle color: worth every penny. They wash and dry well and I reviewed them in this post.
I bought my Addidas on sale at DSW and when they are worn out, I will be buying another pair: I love these! They are comfortable with socks, true to size and work with so many different outfits. Comfortable and cute for travel!
I repeated the color in my Nickel and Suede earrings: yes, I travel with several pairs of earrings usually Nickel and Suede ones. I love my striped weekender bag I found at TJ Maxx this winter: fits quite a lot! And I can never have too many travel bags!
Hope this post inspires you to see how you can use one item for different types of occasion and destinations.

What a gorgeous color cobalt blue is! I used to wear it a lot with black! But cobalt blue is not always available.
Ellibelle
Such great looks! I have a top in a very similar color. I’m loving it paired with the olive shorts and white jeans!

What nice switched up looks. The blue and white really do shine together. Adding the coral color was a smart choice, too!

Thanks, Kim! That gives me another idea: got some bright coral sandals that could make another cool outfit!

I love the color: that was one of my goals this summer to find colorful tops: so far bought many things but not too many colorful tops so glad this one worked out to be a winner! Thanks for stopping by!

My favorite shade of blue! And the tank has a really nice cut. My favorite color to pair with this shade is white. Such a crisp look.
So cool that you grew up in France and Mexico City!
