1 year blogversary, part 3

While I have not tried to monetize my blog yet focusing instead on building a readership through linking my post to other bloggers link ups and through keeping active on Instagram as well as commenting regularly on posts. Little by little, my number of followers on Instagram have increased and I have been following a number of fashion bloggers, minimalist and budget accounts. Through these activities I have participated in different giveaways and have learned a number of prizes. I thought it would be fun to share them today.

Caslon cocoon cardigan

This is is the first thing I have ever won and was a nice surprise. I entered a giveway on Audrey’s Putting me Together blog about a year and a half ago and it has been a fun addition to my closet.

#thriftedchicstylechallenge

Every so often I participate in the monthly #thriftedchicstylechallenge on Instagram. I once won the giveaway which was that time a $25 gift card to Target.

AlisonandAubrey bracelets

I entered a giveaway on Jodie Touch of Style Instagram page and won 2 pieces of my choice from Alison and Aubrey’s jewelry line. I chose two wrap bracelets that I love and can’t wait to wear more this spring and summer.

This silver one has a magnetic closure which makes it very easy to put on and off. The 2nd one is fun and colorful.

Simply Earth Box

I received the July Simply Earth box from a giveaway on Grace’s Color and Grace blog. The boys and I enjoyed making the different activities from the box and it got me back to using essential oils.

Wildroot Natural deodorant

Not too long ago, I entered a giveaway on one of Lisa’s post from Coast to Coast. The price was a year supply of deodorant. I chose several different ones to try and they will last me longer than a year. I went through a couple of weeks of detox but I have really like them. I have used them for exercise and everyday life and have not had any problems with stink!

Harper and Jewels necklace

I recently won an initial necklace from Harper and Jewels giveaway that was hosted by @kandidlykim and @missourimagnolia. I haven’t worn it much yet but I am sure I will more when it is warmer.

I think that is it! It has been fun to win these different prizes. I do not enter many giveways: ask me to follow too many people or jump through too many hoops and I am not interested, lol!
