Classic Look: Do I find this Outfit Boring?

I thrifted this blue and white striped shirt this summer because I really loved the colors. The size was XL and the brand Crown and Ivy (which I have always found to be pretty good quality). I have worn it belted with a skirt (in a upcoming post), but I wanted to wear it again with white. I wanted to show the difference accessories could make even if it is just one piece. I wanted to show the progression of the look, with the last one is really being my favorite.

I feel like this first outfit is a little boring. Silver earrings, silver cuff, grey purse and sandals.

While I wore this 2nd outfit in real life, I was still not in love with the outfit. I like my grey sandals, but they really did not add any fun interest to the outfit. So before publishing this post, I had my son take a couple more pictures and I added some more color and prints to create an outfit that was definitely not boring but still me.

I took notice of the colors in my purse and add magenta earrings and my printed sandals that have both navy and magenta in them. That outfit makes me happy! And yes, I do not always have to have these pop of colors in my outfits, but in this case when I was not trying to have a neutral outfit, I felt this one was styled the best.
