Date Night Looks

Well, after half the year without planning any date nights, I finally made it happen. We went out to dinner twice! While my husband and I do spend time together without the kids, whether driving to church, Home Depot or on errands, and we hang out watching TV or reading together, we hadn’t taken the time to dress up and go out this year. I do so enjoy dressing up and am looking forward to an anniversary trip next month. We are making up for lost time.

Dinner in Town

I love how my outfit turned out, but this was the third pair of pants I tried! This cutie outfit is 100% thrifted apart from my jewelry. I found these navy heels in Arizona and I love that they have a Velcro closure. They looked like new and are very comfortable! I will be wearing them a lot especially on Sundays. The top, you have seen twice on the blog in August: I love it and am so glad I took a chance on it. The purse is a great quirky addition and fits everything I need (I hate when cute bags will not hold my wallet). These thrifted jeans are good year after year!

I had to share a close up of my jewelry: the beaded earrings are from a boutique in Grand Lake, CO and the pendant is by an native American artist which I bought at Just Beautiful Boutique in Surprise, AZ. I have worn both a lot this past summer. Unique and beautiful!

Anniversary Dinner

A moment for my accessories! I think half of what makes an outfit special is accessories and these are all favorite pieces of mine! The little straw clutch is an old find for Cracker Barrel! You can find the most unique things in their country store.

These pants are so much fun: as you can tell they are lace but they have a pair of shorts attached for modesty and I also like the large hem at the bottom. I bought these this summer at Just Be Youtiful boutique.

My Amazon top comes in handy anytime I want more bum coverage or when I want a top that is a little fancier than a white cotton tee or blouse. I took these pictures before date night, so I will have to keep you posted if my hubby liked this outfit! And of course, he loved it! We only went out for desserts since too much was going on at the house, but our waitress was a sweetie and insisted on taking a picture of us!

A bientôt!
