My Favorite November and December Outfits

Some months, I recap my favorite outfits of the month in one or two posts and sometimes I forget. I haven’t done that in a while, so I decided I would look back at my outfits for the last two months and decide which outfits I liked best. I will say that having a good hair day also influences which outfits made the cut! I ended up with 10 outfits with two of them being from our beach trip at Thanksgiving.

Grey Monochromatic Look

Love every piece in this outfit and wore it again on New Year’s Day! I have worn these booties so much more than I expected.

Snakeskin Midi Skirt

Wore a variation of this a couple Sundays ago. I love this skirt and am so glad I took the time to go back to TJMaxx to find it even though I had to look through the whole store!ย  It was a reminder to get what you like at TJMaxx because it may be gone the next day!

Thrifted Zipper Cardigan

A less than $5 find reminded me how much fun thrifting can be and how you can find original pieces. I really like this tan cardigan.

Thanksgiving Look at the Beach

A twist on my blog post for a Thanksgiving look, this pink little leopard skirt is so fun to wear and this was a cute and comfortable look for Thanksgiving.

Joggers and Plaid

One thing I have learned this year is my love for joggers and sneakers. I am particular about them but the right ones are staples in my closet to be worn year round. I also am glad I kept my plaid shirts and found ways to wear them that I like, namely around my waist or as an unbuttoned layer.

Camo Vest and Leggings

My son’s outgrown vest has been mine for a couple of years now. I have enjoyed wearing vests this fall and am sure I will incorporate them in my outfits during the rest of winter.

Mustard Vest and Skirt

What makes an outfit a winner? Sometimes it’s a shoe, other times a color but typically a good fit and good color are essential. This thrifted skirt always makes an ouftit look good and I love this shade of mustard.

Poncho and Tall Boots

The first time I wore this poncho, I wondered if I made a mistake buying it. After seeing someone style their boxy poncho with tall boots, I decided to give it a try and came up with this outfit! I love it! It made a difference in the proportions and I felt good all day.

Leopard and Leggings

A couple Amazon purchases in this outfit, my favorite pair of leggings and some cozy details. A beanie is a good way to hide aย  bad hair day, add warmth and a fun twist to an outfit. The key is to check how it looks: sometimes it looks cute but the wrong angle just doesn’t do one any favors. I usually check the mirror before heading out.

Purple and Camo

I have found that I am less likely to shop when I plan outfits for the week or for at least 3 to 4 days in advance. This combination came out as good as I thought. I love the lavender purple with the camo and the fun print mixing with the camo and snakeskin. I did have to add a jean jacket in the afternoon as it was colder but this worked well in the house and grocery shopping. Sometimes the 40s feels freezing but other times it is just a bit cold.

I have a few other outfits that I will add to my January favorites posts but wanted to highlight these! Any winning outfits lately?
