Flowy Lace Top Styled 2 Ways
I love finding different ways to style one piece and I have been trying to share some examples of this on a regular basis. Today, I am sharing a gorgeous lace flowy blouse from the Brindle Boutique in a casual outfit as well as a dressier example. I was gifted this item which I chose because of the beautiful lace. I love special details like this and I was very impressed with the quality of the blouse (and the other items I bought later one with my own money). I was especially delighted to see that the buttons were functional as that gives more styling options. The color is a light sage and will work year round.
Wear Lace in a Casual Manner
Don’t relegate lace just for date night and special events! I decided to pair the blouse with a simple pair of denim shorts and wore my Halftee under (code MIREILLE20). The Halftee is especially handy with this blouse as the lace covers the back of the blouse.
To keep the outfit casual, I wore a pair of distressed Blowfish sandals and wooden earrings from Thailand. I really can’t get over how pretty this blouse is!
Dressy with Lace
White for me signifies summer (even if I wear white year round) and I love how it pairs with brights, but also with neutrals. The light green or sage of this shirt is definitely a neutral and can pair with many colors.
Because the buttons are functional, this blouse can work as a short cardigan/kimono. It will work nicely over a tank top and jeans and I think it would look really cool with a black column.
The dress is a Crown and Ivy thrifted dress that is perfect for date night. My heels were my mom’s and she gave them to me when she couldn’t wear them anymore. My earrings were a gift from her too.
Oh, I really really love this lace blouse and cannot wait to wear it with different options. You can shop the Brindle Boutique with code MIREILLE for 25% off!

I have this same shirt in gray and have worn it paired with a white tank and shorts before but never thought of opening it up to use as more of a cardigan. What a great idea.

I just love how you think, Mireille. First off, pairing it with both a casual look AND a dressy look makes it so versatile. And then wearing it as a kimono is brilliant.

That is a stunning blouse, Mireille! Isn’t it fun when you can do so much with one piece? I love both looks. Genius wearing the half tee under this blouse!

What a cute top! I like that neutral mint colour and the lace is a really lovely detail. I think wearing it open as a topper over the white dress is such a good idea, definitely my favourite of the two outfits you shared here 🙂
