Inspired by Cammi Happy Place

I love it when I get inspired to shop my closet and replicate an outfit that is comfortable and cute to wear. Whenever that happens I take a screenshot to remind myself to put that outfit together. This summer, Cammi shared this cute outfit on IG and on her blog in this post. Surprisingly I had never put these specific pieces together and it was a perfect summer outfit for me to wear for errands and around the house.

All of these pieces have been in my closet for a year or more and are worn very frequently. This purse from IdeasValeyn is so cute for summer and Yenni carries them in a few colors. I added a pair of rattan earrings that I bought in a set from Amazon (here). They are a fun summer accessory and I was surprised that they are not overly heavy while being well made and fairly substantial.

I have found that a simple pair of black sandals is essential in summer. They really go with everything. I wished I had bought these in several colors last year as Target does not carry them anymore and they are really comfortable. They have just enough cushioning and they stay in place. I always take them with me on vacations.

I love the square neck of my bodysuit. I typically do not snap it which makes it easier to wear. I love the fit of a bodysuits but the snaps can be annoying.

On the day I was taking these pictures (and another set for a post in September), I was discussing how shopping my closet could be as much or even more fun than shopping. Years ago, she used to work in a store called Pizzitz in Birmingham, AL  and was the women’s dress buyer. She would travel to NY and LA. She always enjoys me stopping by her room to share my daily outfit or my special outfits for the blog.

Denim skirts are trending right now: since I already had two in my closet (this one and the one I shared in the last Ageless Link Up post (here), I was well prepared for this one! I like the midi length of this one as I feel it is more practical than a full length one.

Do you have a denim skirt and do you wear it if you do? I probably wear mine a little more in the cooler months, but the light color of this one lends itself well to the warm months.
