Suede Skirt and Black Leather Jacket

Every so often, I have the desire to wear a little short skirt for a fun date night look! I bought this skirt September 2021 and only have worn it a handful a times, but it’s such a fun skirt to have! It actually fits better now than it did then. Once again, I turned to Pinterest to get some ideas because I did not want to copy a look I already shared on the blog. I shared it one way here in 2021 and that was actually how I thought of it again, but that look was already done! I’ve also worn it with light tan boots and a tan cut out top.

Today, I added a touch of edginess with the faux leather jacket. I do not wear my faux leather jackets enough to justify the expense of real leather, so all 3 of my jackets are faux. I have this black one, a rose/gold brown one and a brown moto one. Each one takes an occasional turn in an outfit.

I have been on the lookout for a good white bodysuit I like. I stained my last short sleeve square neck one from Old Navy so that is where I headed when I wanted to replace it. Thankfully, I had still a little cash in hand so I decided that I would get what fit and looked best. I bought this long sleeve square neck one on sale (here) and 3 tank ones (not on sale). I usually were their bodysuits in medium, but they only had the long sleeve in L in store so that is the size I bought.

I really love bodysuits with maxi skirts, but they are also really handy as a base layer. I just have had a hard time liking the material of most because I like it to be think enough to smooth over without outlining everything. The double layer of the Old Navy ones is nice. I also love my fleece lined tights which are so nice and toasty on cold days.
