Ready for Spring, but Wear it Now

Welcome to the Sunday Showcase! I love a piece that can be worn year round: the Denise top is a gorgeous top from Avara that I received when I became an ambassador for the brand last month. I was drawn to it because of the royal blue, the pretty sleeves and how I thought it would fit my style with a little boho vibe with the collar.

I have recently learned how important it is to read the sizing for a piece: I could tell from the pictures of the blouse, that it would be boxy and a little cropped to I decided to size down to an XS. The top fits perfectly if a little tight at the elastic on the sleeve band.

I absolutely love how the material drapes and how I will be able to pair with a multitude of bottoms this spring and summer. White denim pants, shorts and skirts, any type of denim, kakhi and more. And for colder days, just add a denim jacket (blue, white, even yellow) or give it an edgy vibe with a moto jacket.

The trim on the collar of the blouse really sets it apart and elevates the look. To keep up the vibe, I added some golden earrings I recently found at a local boutique and some of my bracelets. These thrifted WHBM jeans always have me reaching for taller shoes since they are long.
