Thrifted Find Looks from Arizona

Today is my son’s high school graduation! I more than likely won’t be spending much time on my computer. Tears will be shed tonight, hopefully, I will think to add some tissues to my purse. I am also very excited! I wrote this post a while back after wearing all of my finds from my trip to Arizona to visit Jodie. It sure is fun shopping with friends and thrifted is such a fun way to shop as not it is not only budget friendly but quite a treasure hunt.

Lemon Clutch

The disadvantage of shopping with thrifters like Jodie and Cathie is that they have a great eye for finding things! Cathie kept finding the cute purses, but I was able to convince her to let me have this clutch as I had nothing close to anything like it in my closet while she did.

Purple Graphic Tee

This is the first thing I bought, a simple graphic tee. I am looking forward to pairing it with my white shorts, but decided to have a little fun on its debut.

Embroidered Pants and Colorful Cardigan

These are my two favorite finds! I absolutely love the jeans (which I had to try over my borrowed leggings) and the cardigan is soft and the colors just gorgeous. I wore this on my flight back for two reasons: they were my biggest pieces of clothing and they were comfortable.

Here is a better look at the embroidered details on the jeans. They just fit perfectly!

Beachy Hat

I just couldn’t pass this one up: what a fun detail on the hat! I tend to wear the same hat most of the summer but it is fun to have some variety.

Floral Purse

I thought the purse (found at Goodwill) was perfect with this thrifted dress (which will have its own blog post next month). I like the zipper details and happy colors. It was in perfect condition and the brown trim is a nice contrast to the white background and stitching.

Striped Dress

This dress deserved its own post too, so I shared it with my tote for the Ageless Style Link Up last week, but here is another look at it. Like the jeans, I had to try it over my clothes, so I was very happy when I got home to see how well it fit. I really love the style of it!

I forgot about that floral purse. It’s so perfect for the upcoming summer months.
We really had a ton of fun. The only disadvantage of thrifting while traveling is you’re limited on space to take things home, LOL
    Can’t wait until next year,

I think I did pretty good packing it all up! I cannot wait too! I was just thinking about it on my flight yesterday!

What grand finds. Those jeans were MADE for you. Love the lemon clutch. Glad you were able to convince the gals to let you have it since they already had something similar. And that colorful cardi!! Just WOW. A new consignment shop/thrift shop has opened not too far from my home. Before they opened for business they were open for people to bring in clothes they wanted to sell. While I was waiting for a quote for the things I was interested in selling, I was allowed to look over the racks of clothes and fell in love with a Native American print cardi similar to yours. When the store finally opened for shopping, the cardi was gone!! Boo!! Hoping maybe they just set it aside until fall as it was a heavy weight. But I sure was sad not to be able to find it.

I hate when that happens. I do love those two pieces quite a lot. The jeans were such a fun find and the cardigan, oh I love the colors!

Wow! Those jeans and that sweater! I bet the stuff is much more Western in Arizona consignment shops and that is so cool! What a great thing to add to anyones’ travel plans, no? I bet you can also find souvenir t-shirts for a steal instead of paying big bucks.

Those were my two favorites. I know right? I want to find a pair of cowboy boots on my next trip out there next year.
