Themed OTTD: Yellow Outfits for a Week

After wearing red, white and blue for a week around the 4th of July, I decided to continue choosing to wear daily outfits following a color scheme and deciding on yellow in honor of the sunshine!  Yellow for me symbolizes happiness, joy and optimism. I started pulling out everything I could think of that I could wear in the summer and I was surprised how much yellow I have! Some items I have worn more than other over the years, but I still do like all of them.

Yellow and Turquoise

I bought this dress a couple years ago and I have worn it 3 seasons out of the year. It’s definitely a good one for summer and it is very lightweight. It’s not the first time I paired it with turquoise!

Yellow and White

I had forgotten how much I like this thrifted Anthropologie skirt! It’s the perfect linen material for summer and sunshiny yellow. I looked for all my white accessories: and voila, a pretty Sunday outfit!

Yellow and Orange

One of the reasons I did not get bored wearing yellow 5 days in a row is that none of these outfits are similar. Each piece is unique. This is a little dress from Tjmaxx that I typically wear with biker shorts because of its length. Since there was orange in the print, it was a no brainy to pair some orange with it.

Yellow and Red

The sun is bright in the mornings! This sweet top is a souvenir from a market in Provence, France summer 2019! It is lightweight and great for summer. Since my sandals have red in them, I chose them instead of my red flats for a little spice!
