Bridgeway Station, Mauldin SC

I will be sharing some blog pictures I took in Bridgeway station on Monday, but since I took more pictures (it was such a pretty place), I wanted to share the rest of them in their own post. Bridgeway Station is modeled after a castle in Italy with stone imported from Italy. There is a food hall with several restaurants, a few boutiques, some offices and some apartments. There is an outdoor area with a fountain, a large screen and is definitely worth the detour to hang out and enjoy for an hour or two.

Even in 100 degree humid weather, we enjoyed a stroll and my 19 year and I tried to outdo ourselves with our pictures. I did use of of his below, from inside the tower looking up: I couldn’t get as good as a shot.

I am hoping that this area continues to develop and thrives (it is about 2 years old now) as it is so picturesque. It made me miss Europe, but made me grateful that there are some places like this around for us to enjoy.

There is a parking lot across from the plaza and another behind the area and I would love to see how this looks around Christmas. I just realized that Greenville could be our Christmas break overnight destination: we could stay a night at a cool hotel downtown. I will have to mention the idea to my family.

Can you believe there is a swimming pool for the residents? You can barely get a glimpse in the picture on the right where the umbrella is. The apartments are across in the building you see in the background. There is also a outdoor bar up there.

Should we go back to Greenville at Christmas? I think we should!

A bientôt!
