Bohemian Dress Overlay: 4 Ways

One of my favorite places to shop when visiting Jodie in Arizona is a friend’s boutique in Surprise, AZ. I have mentioned the boutique many times on the blog because the items I come home with are usually unique and I wear them many times in a variety of ways. Today, I am sharing this green dress overlay that came with a light dress layer, but can be separated. Even though the fit of the under layer was too large for me (I have to wear a tank or Halftee under, I loved the color more than the other two it was offered in. So I brought it home and no regrets. There are so many ways I can wear this and I love the bohemian vibe of these outfits.

This is how the dress came: the two layers velcro at the shoulder. Since the white layer is paper thin, I still had to wear a slip under and I did wear a tank too because of how low it comes under the armpit.

Over White Linen Pants and a Halftee

I really like how wearing the Halftee highlights the pretty detail on the back for the dress. I love it over the column of white and will be wearing this in the fall and spring.

Over Denim

It’s a little difficult to see the fun hem on my jeans, but this dress will work well with all of my denim whether cropped or full length. I love the contrast in color with the blue denim. I am wondering how it would look layered over a denim shirt as the material is really thin. I will have to try it out.

Over my Tulle Overlay

This outfit is very similar to the first one except that I am wearing a tulle overlay (that cannot be worn on its own since it is not lined. It work well as coverage under the green dress.
