Darlington Boarding School: A Beautiful Campus

A couple weekends ago, my oldest asked for a drive to his ACT test. We originally thought the location was closer so I had made plans for a run and preparing for Orthodox Easter by cooking, but the unexpected change in plans worked out well. I looked up some free things to do in Rome, GA which I will share on Friday, but since the Darlington Campus was so pretty, I wanted to share a few pictures.

Darlington is a day and boarding school in Rome, GA. The campus serves to children PreK through 12. Since the weather was so pretty, we decided to enjoy snack by the pond.

As we were finishing up, we saw a swan coming towards us. The boys were excited as it was the first time they had seen one in real life.

We were impressed with how quick he swam and how his wings looked as he swam towards us. He was very friendly and followed us from the water.

While I would homeschool my children before sending them to private school (imagine the expense for 4 children), imagine your children going to school in such pretty surroundings

Above is the chapel. I did not even think of seeing if it was open. We really did enjoy our little half hours walking around and were glad for our unexpected little field trip.

Another beautiful campus in Rome is Berry College which I shared in a post here a few years ago.

A bientôt!
