Summer Recap 2025

Here are a few posts that recap some of my summer adventures:

In other news, I have been starting my meals including breakfast with veggies and added a lot more fresh veggies to my diet. I also increased my protein intake and make chia pudding to eat for breakfast every day.

I also enjoyed the occasional treat from the French Bakery (Bonnins) about once a month and cut zinnias from our little garden to bring color to the kitchen.

We enjoyed butterflies, foxes and deer in the yard! And of course, birds of many kinds.

I enjoyed a thrifting outing and lunch with my friend Rachel in Chattanooga (we rode in her convertible VW bug) and my husband and I went down the river without kids a couple of times.

My husband threw me a 50th birthday party and we had about 40 friends join us. We rented an avenue, ordered some fun and did some of it ourselves too. I took care of the decor, sangria and a few other things.

My 2 running besties threw me a birthday brunch and had the rest of our running crew help with food. We had a great time visiting with each other and sharing laughs and yummy food.

I have tried to move more and have been walking, biking and running a couple times a week. I am loving my newly thrifted collection of skorts for some of these activities.
