Favorite traveling outfit

A couple weeks ago, I shared some of my favorite vacation outfits. Today, I wanted to share a few of my traveling outfits which are outfits that I wear either traveling by car or plane.

I wore this outfit a couple years ago for our long plane journey to Tbilisi (Rebublic of Georgia) and have worn several variations of it using these Zella joggers on roadtrips. That trip usually takes us a little over 24 hours so comfortable shoes are essential and these joggers (which have been sold out for a while) dry easily if wet. They have an elastic band and I definitely got my cost per wear out of them. For a pair of joggers, they wear not cheap at almost $70 but I do not regret their purchase. There is actually a new pair of Zella cargo joggers that I plan to purchase before our spring break trip. Since I am making less clothes and more thought out purchases this year, I am ok with spending a little more money on items if I know that I will wear them enough to justify their cost.

While I quickly got rid of this tee that doesn’t do me any favors, this was the outfit I wore on our flight to Spain. As you may notice, these are the same shoes as above but in grey (Nike Tanjun) and I am wearing another pair of joggers. These were an inexpensive pair from JC Penney and while I still like them and wear them a lot, the quality is not the best as I can see snags in them the more they are washed. They are so comfortable though, that I will continue to wear them until they fall apart. I have worn many variations of this outfit too on vacations.

I wore this outfit on our trip from Paris to Barcelona and love how this light weight wrap cardigan was cozy and warm. I wore in on our flight back to the US too. I need to remember to pack it for our upcoming trips this year. There are so many ways to wear it that it is like having several toppers in one!
