July Outfits (Part 2)

Well since I really like most of my outfits this month and not everyone follows me on Instagram, I decided to split my post in two since I had so much to share. I definitely had some winning piece such as my red Target dress so I wore it is several ways. At the time I wrote this post it was available online is small and medium in limited stock but it is worth checking if your store carries it. It is that good!

Wow, I am looking a little tired in these pictures: the cute little 2 year has been waking me up most night and a little stress added to that and I may need to start wearing some makeup, lol! Didn’t help that my van was shot up by bb gun (had to replace the back window and have lots of pings on my car as a souvenir). Love wearing dresses as skirts especially if they are sleeveless: I think it will be fun to do this in the fall with sweaters. Love love this dress (linked above).

Oops, I could help myself with this cute litle Amazon straw tote. Came with the scarf and under $24! My organizer doesn’t fit in it but it has a few side pockets inside and I usually use little pouches to keep things together. Love it! I have done a better job wearing this dress more often this year. Really love when a dress as a waist at the waist: minimizes the muffin top! Same earrings and sandals two days in a row. Remember when you buy things to add in your wardrobe that you want them to be versatile: both the leopard earrings and sandals can be worn with literally everything! Adds a fun pattern and interest to any outfit.

Barefoot since I really had no plans for this day! I wore a white tee to participate on #fashionmyway on Instagram and decide to dress it up with my kimono and this fun start necklace I have had forever. I bought a number of these glass pendants at a flea market years ago and haven’t worn them much. Great for summer: it’s a lightweight way to add interest to an outfit!

I feel like I haven’t worn this many dresses and skirts in a while. I think it is partly due to having gotten some new ones this year as well as having sorted my old ones to decide which I still wore. I bought this JCrew one last summer and haven’t worn it much as it is not the most flattering skirt on me but it sure is comfortable! I really like yellow with navy so it was a no brainer to add these sandals and earrings.

This Amazon leopard skirt gets all the compliments! Lots of love for it on Instagram and the ladies at Great Clips kept complimenting it. I wear it in small and have found 3 different ways to wear it so far. I am sure there will be more and I see this dress work for all seasons.

Sometimes you have an idea for an outfit but it doesn’t work out: I went through 3 pairs of shoes, 4 tops and 2 pairs of earrings before settling on this outfit.

I end with a ray of sunshine! This was my traveling outfit on our way to North Carolina: it was perfect for a short 3 hour ride and our first restaurant outing in 5 months (we ate outside). Still loving yellow!

Well, I just figured out that I wasn’t following you on Insta-got that fixed (just now)! I will add one more complement for the animal print maxi and top-love it. I totally understand changing shoes until you find the right one-I would never make a good minimalist.

BB gun target practice? You have to be furious.

Take care, and hope you can get some sleep,

Yes, and we are pretty sure who did it. Another reason why a vacay was needed. Do love that leopard maxi. I had it in my cart for a month or two before I got it. Think it will be great for the cold months too.

You did such a great job with all of your July styles! Haha, I know what you mean about an outfit not coming together! I’ve *got* to see if those yellow, Target sandals are still available in my size! I’m so sorry about your van–ugh!

  • Mica

Such cute outfits – you know I love the kimono one and the maxi ones – you have such great style and I love those pieces for summer!

Sorry to hear about your van though! So good you are safe and no-one was in it at the time!

Hope that your week is going well 🙂

I’m sorry about your van…that’s so crazy Mireille. I love how you wear your dress with the tee over it…I know that trick but need to do it more.

So many cute outfits Mireille! I love that leopard maxi skirt on you! I can see why you get so many compliments! I’m so sorry to hear about your van! How frustrating!

Thanks, Laura! I am figuring out what I like best with that leopard maxi skirt: I love how it flows.

I love your red dress/skirt as you really suit that colour, but also love the last photo of the yellow top. And I did have a chuckle at the last sentence where you say you had a short 3-hour ride. In the UK that’s a really long car journey! Yes, sorry about your van – take care 🙂

Ha ha! I know! But for us going to the beach is 6+ hours so 3 hours is not bad. Also anything in Atlanta is about 45 min to an hour for us so these 3 hours getting us somewhere so pretty as these mountains sounds like a small drive.

More great July looks! You style dresses so well! They all look gorgeous but my personal favorite is the last look, jean shorts and the yellow top! Sorry to hear about the van, I can imagine you needed to get away for a bit!

Thanks, Ellibelle! The dresses have been nice of a change. After this week of hiking clothes, I will be ready for skirts and dresses again next week!

Thanks Emily! Target has had some cute stuff lately, thankfully no dressing rooms so I am less likely to buy since I don’t typically shop there online!

  • Lindsey

All of your outfits are so pretty! Ooh, I’m going to have to check to see if Target still has that dress. I love it! Also, I love your patio! The decor is so pretty!

I am really sorry to hear about your van too. How frustrating…

    • mimifce

Thanks, Lindsey! Wait till I take some pics of the new pergola! I do like the side one too since it gives more privacy!

Wow, these are just all such lovely outfits and so many dresses and skirts. I haven’t really been wearing any dresses/skirts since Covid and I miss that. My birthday is coming up and I may wear a dress all day just because! Ha! Oh my gosh, your poor car! :O

Yes, dresses have been really made me feel pretty and feminine so they have been a fun change!

So many fabulous outfits! I am loving all the yellow and not just because it’s a beautiful color but the looks are true stunners. I am a big fan of leopard and I do love that skirt but the red one you wore (featured as the first photo) has me in love!

    • mimifce

That first one is actually a dress! I love that I can make it look like a skirt with a tee on top. Thanks for the compliment, Maureen!

    • mimifce

I learned that trick from Mica. And the van… pretty sure I know who it is but not proof. All I can say is that my van was targeted: too many shots and only vehicle! We did file a police report. But letting it go and praying for that person otherwise I would just live in angst. I will not speak nor look at them and we are getting some security cameras sooner than later.

I love every single outfit Mireille. The red Target dress and that leopard midi dress are phenomenal – no wonder it got so many compliments. Love the cute kimono too. I always love how you mix+match colors and how you accessorize, Mirei. Great earrings all in all!
