August Favorite Outfits (Part 2)

Welcome back to Mireille’s August outfits! Today’s looks center around shorts and more dresses and skirts!

Shorts

Finding the perfect layering button up was easier than expected: a quick excursion to TJMaxx delivered! I love the material and the fit!

Grocery shopping day: hands free backpack purse and simple outfit.

Laid back look for a laid back Sunday afternoon: we flew our kites in our backyard and enjoyed our pergola. Poshmark fun find in the blouse: I tried to add some variety in my blouses and tops this year.

Bringing fall a little with fallish colors and leopard! I probably will be wearing sandals for another month or so but will be pulling my wedge sneakers out as soon as it starts cooling off. I love the change of seasons and the variety it brings to my wardrobe.

Not sure why I don’t wear this little blue kimono style cardigan… I really like the fit of it and I think it would look awesome with white jeans or shorts!

Choosing another fun kimono in my closet: I tried to pull out some of my less worn things the last week of August. And because I have done a clean up this summer, everything that is there, I enjoy wearing. I have found quite a few different tops that work under this kimono!

Dresses and Skirts

I still can’t get over how much I am enjoying wearing skirts and dresses this summer! I will say, I do have about 4 skirts I haven’t touched at all, they are older jersey maxis which I am having a hard time parting with (I did donate 2 to 3 other ones). Should I keep these last 4 or not since I haven’t worn them at all this season… that is the question!

Fun, fun, fun! I still love this little thrifted goodie. I am going to try to style it this fall, copying one of Grace’s from Graceful Rags daily looks from last winter.

Ha ha! My Converse sneakers actually look white in this picture but they sure aren’t. I did say goodbye to them last week. While I like how they look, I have never found Converse to be very comfortable. i do have another pair (burgundy) and a little pair of soft cloth sneakers I can wear instead. Skirt was thrifted and stretches which makes it very comfortable.

One of my favorites right here! And all new from this year apart for my French tote! Love, love this dress and this blouse was an awesome find at TJMaxx.

Double thrifted (thrifted and handed down to me) dress, and a really old topper. I wore a belt with it for the first time and I like it! Play around in your closet and find some new combos or just change up your accessories and you will feel like you have new clothes!

Again the tee over dress trick to create a new look.
