Casual Beach Fall Outfit

I had to share these pictures before winter officially arrives! My son took these pictures for me on our last full day at the beach. That day turned out to me my favorite. It started with my daily coffee right after the sunrise (see my post here) and continued with the boys playing on the beach for a few hours that morning. I just sat back and enjoyed seeing them play and the views of the beach. After a yummy lunch at the condo (my husband grilled some tilapia and sauteed some tomato/onions and created a sandwich combo), we headed to Seaside.

I changed out of my casual tee and dressed up my joggers with a white tee and my favorite kimono. I impressed myself with pretty much wearing everything I brought. Casual bottoms and sweatshirts aplenty! After finding a parking spot which was quite an accomplisment as everyone had the idea to hang out in Seaside after Thanksgiving day, we decided to walk behind the square before hitting the shops.

We’ve been coming to 30A for at least 10 years now (we did miss some years here and there) and never stay in Seaside nor the equally expensive towns of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. We used to stay in Seagrove but the last two years have stayed in Blue Mountain beach. So we were familiar with the area having biked it quite a few times. We ended up on the bridge crossing the water (I think it is a large lake) which we had never walked on foot.

It was very relaxing as there were just a few people on bikes and we took our time. It is always interesting to see the different plants that grow in Florida. We saw some bald cypresses there and this tall grassy spot.

Definitely a great day weatherwise: sunny, clear sky cool but not really cold! I have found my white sneakers to be a pair I reach for with joggers quite a lot. I wasn’t sure if I would be taking blog pictures but I was ready just in case. My oldest has learned to be flexible!

I actually bought my little camo crossbody in a shop in Seaside last year but didn’t find anything of interest in that shop this year. I did leave the cute little French inspired shop “an Apartment in Paris” with a great cookbook with my favorite time of recipe: all in one pan: it is a sheet pan recipe book! This bridge took us back through Watercolor which is a short walk from Seaside.

I was beyond grateful that the boys let me take a nice picture of all 4 of them together in front of this fountain in Watercolor. It has become a tradition to take a picture here: we first took one when I only had the 2 oldest and took one with all of them last year. It makes a pretty backdrop and all the boys were smiling! It is quite a feat, I can tell you! Until next time, Seaside!

A bientôt!
