Ponchos and Wraps with the Ageless Style Link Up
Since I have never devoted a whole post to this summer 2020 Loft Clearance find, I decided that this little poncho deserved some attention and it fit perfectly with our Ageless Style theme. I actually had a completely different outfit in mind with a different poncho but when I wore this one day at the end of January, I decided that we needed to take some blog pictures with it. I was comfortable and warm all day in it, wearing the scarf in the morning while it was in the 30s and shedding it when the temperatures hit the 50s.
I’ve actually worn the poncho with stripes before as well as with white, black and a floral tee. I love that it is a neutral and while it is does not feel heavy it really does provide some warmth. I wanted a contrast with my shoes so brown combat boots were it for a day of errands and school pick ups.
I found this purse at a local boutique and have worn it for the past 2 months. I am finding that I am not wearing my bright purses at all and really have just a few that I like to rotate. This one is a great size, adds texture to any outfit with the hide and the grey/olive color is a great neutral.
I love the movement in my hair with the wind! I wore a cute pair of leather feather earrings but they are lost in most of the pictures as the color blends in with my hair. Just believe me that they are there and large. I finally did update my Old Navy Rockstar Skinny Jeans when they came on sale since my old ones became too worn in places you don’t want holes! I wear them in size 6 and do not fit in size 4 which I can in the Old Navy Pixie pants. These jeans keep their shape and usually last me upwards of 5 years.
I am looking forward to spring at this point. I have done well shopping my closet this past season and am looking forward to wearing lots of denim jackets to transition into spring. March usually gets a little headstart on spring so brighter colors will probably make more of an appearance in my closet.
I look forward to hikes and setting up some regular outdoor playdates with some friends. There are a number of historic sites I want to visit and there are also several state parks new to us that I would love to hike. The past Saturdays have been pretty quiet and unadventurous with the weather not cooperating for outdoors fun. We have been able to picnic once by the river which was really nice. I will be sharing some pictures next week.

Mireille, what a great poncho! I love this style and the neutral color is perfect for throwing over almost any outfit! Every time I see that bag though, I get a little drooly! I love it so much. Maybe I need to look for a unique bag of some sort as a souvenir from Asheville next week!

I really like the black and white stripped top underneath it. I’ve had the hardest time finding long sleeved tops, basic ones that also have a nice shape. Same with tshirt. Finding plain tops that have a nice fit has been a struggle. Anyway, I really like yours. I also like the way you layers a scarf and the long necklace.

You look so snuggly warm yet stylish in your poncho. As I have mentioned to a lot of the gals joining us, I am a klutz and can clear a room or a grocery aisle with one wave of my arm in a poncho. I knock things off desks, books off shelves. Terrible. But you wear yours with such ease and elegance. I am super jealous.

You made me laugh! The first time I took a picture with this poncho I almost decided to donate it. Not sure if it was the outfit or the picture but glad I tried again because now I really like it! I even wore it yesterday with camo pants and the striped top. Thanks for the compliment!
