Styling a White Top with the Ageless Style Link Up
I actually styled this same shirt last year for the Ageless Style Link Up (where we share that style is ageless!) in an all white look in this post! It is actually one of my favorite photo shoots with that fun umbrella. I also wore it for a summer post with a camo mini skirt and a borrowed pair of pants here. It was an Amazon find a few years ago and I love how airy it is and how easy it is to style. I also have it in light pink and have worn it for the blog too.
Since this Billabong skirt has a very high slit, I often use my Maggie Snaps to create a shorter slit but on this day, I decided not to worry about it so you are seeing a little leg. You could wear a pair of biker or shape shorts under since the skirt is also very thin or a short slip.
A pair of handed down neutral heels from my mom, an estate sale bracelet and pink earrings complete the look. It is breezy and light for summer. More often than not, I will wear this skirt with sneakers this spring. Last I wore it in the winter with booties and a cream sweater.
I have a number of white tees but I haven’t found many dressier white tops that I like so I usually reach for this one. I don’t like too many frills and really do not wear button downs. Knowing what I am going to wear makes for better purchase decisions.
It is always easier to take blog pictures when it is sunny and not windy. Then it is a matter of finding which of my children will take my pictures. The boys love buying legos, so that is always an incentive to earn some money. As I changed out my wardrobe from winter to spring, I quickly realized how much I have to wear. I thrifted some colorful tops in March and filled that hole and now plan to try to get through all of my clothes with some happy combos. I might try the backwards hanger trick to make sure everything gets a chance.
Time for a twirl! Or maybe I will float away like a bubble! School is almost over and it will be time for summer activities and fun. I am ready for it and plan to have a little bucket list.

Lol, the slit is pretty high but I can use my maggie snaps to make it more modest when needed.

A summer bucket list sounds great! I love, love, love this skirt! The slit and all. I have been looking everywhere for this type of maxi skirt and I think instead of finding it locally, I am going to have to just order it online. Also, the white top you choose is lovely. As you menitioned I like how flowy and airy it is. Just lovely.
