A Neutral Outfit Inspired by this Blonde Shopping Bag

KellyAnn from ThisBlondeShoppingBag has been sharing some outfits on IG that she has been inspired to recreate from Pinterest. As I see these, I have been taking a screenshot to remind me to recreate them myself. Earlier this month, the following outfit really appealed to me so I went through my closet to find what I had that was similar.

I knew my pants were very similar to hers which is why the outfit caught my eye. Mine are from Target a year or two ago, and this year I used fabric glue to create a hem as they were really long on me.

I only have one pair of slide sandals so I paired them with my tan pants. I use these to go to the bus stop, the pool and when I do not want to deal with heels or sneakers. I usually don’t wear slides, but now I am rethinking not having another pair.

Since I do not have a white gauze button down (I used to, but did not like how it fit), I chose my closest: my Caite and Kyla button down that has the best embroidery on the back.

This was one 2nd hand purchase I have not regretted. It was not inexpensive (Caite and Kyla pieces are expensive even on Poshmark), but it makes a pretty statement year round. I always get compliments when I wear it.

My brown purse was thrifted for $1 on a shopping trip in Chattanooga. It will be fall before I plan another such thrifting trip: I am quite looking forward to it.

I feel like when it is time for me to get a new phone, my old one starts taking blurry pictures. I apologize for the quality of some of my pictures. I have little over a month before I get a new one!

I really like how this outfit turned out. I do share a lot of bright colored outfits, but there is something soothing and peaceful about a neutral outfit. The flowiness of this one is great for summer as are the fabrics. Thanks, KellyAnn for inspiring me!
