Clara SunWoo Ankle Petal Pants 4 Ways

I am back with a 4 ways how to style blog post. I love getting more wear from the items in my closet especially if they are investment pieces. While these were gifted, I still like to make sure that an item I chose for a collaboration is something that I will wear in my everyday life. These pants are way more versatile than you might expect from their fun print. They are really comfortable with an elastic waistband and of course, the fabric used is fluid and wrinkle free.

For pairing with colorful prints, my favorite graphics are my white ones. I enjoy wearing yellow with navy, so this was one of the first outfits that came to mind. I wore it the Saturday after I received the pants.

I wanted to try a different color with the pants so I paired them with brown sandals, earrings and tank. I have since then donated the top since I really don’t wear it. I am not sure if it is the color or the cut, but I did not enjoy wearing it.

I think this might be my favorite look even surpassing the look with the top that I chose with the pants. It might be something about the silhouette with the halter top and I love my sparkly spiky sandals! The embroidery on the top is a fun detail that reflects the white in the pants.

I wanted to wear the pants with sneakers so I went with the easiest choice of white sneakers but you could create some pattern mixing with printed sneakers too. I think adding a belt is a fun little extra and I am going to try to see how I like the look with different ones.

I really think it is important to think about the ways you might wear something that you are adding to your closet whether it is an inexpensive or a pricey item. Each item needs a home and takes space, so if you are giving it a place in your closet, it needs to deserve that space. While I am slowing down my shopping this year and I have concentrated on thrifting, I still have added a few pieces from TjMaxx and Target. Each time I have done so, I have made sure that I could think of ways to wear those items in a variety of ways.
