Happy Birthday to me with a Early Fall Look

I’ve really enjoyed my birthdays this past decade. I have let go of expectations, embraced my age and figured out how to make the day special. Last year, I went up to Chattanooga to visit my friend Rachel to thrift and baked myself a cake. Today, I may thrift on my own, have a free birthday lunch and relax. I am sharing a thrifted dress I picked up last month at Uptown Cheapskate when I received a 20% off coupon and how I wore it. This look can work all summer long through fall until bare legs are not comfortable.

I am not usually one for smocking but the smocking on this Jessica Simpson dress ends at the waist and is very flattering. I was drawn to the fall colors and the print right away. The square neckline is one of my favorite necklines too and at $7, the price couldn’t be beat (I had $4 in credit at the store).

When I helped my neighbor reorganize her closet before the start of the school, I ended up with this cream Cabi corduroy jacket. I love my fall jackets and it fit me perfectly so I was excited.

I cannot be without a pair of sneakers and if you want an inexpensive pair that is both comfortable and this pair is perfect and still available (mine are 2 years old). They are perfection for transition months and transitioning outfits.

I have enjoyed wearing my gifted silver hoops from ShopLC. This was my first year received gifted items from several companies and it has been a fun experience. I worked with ShopLC for about 6 months, I am currently an Ambassador for Brindle Boutique and and have collaborated a few times with Clara Sunwoo. Each has been a great and fun experience.
