Atlanta Botanical Gardens in the Fall
Last month, we stopped by the botanical gardens after church to take advantage of our yearly pass one more time. It was before the scarecrow exhibit, but the pumpkins were out. It was a beautiful day and I took blog pictures for our Ageless Style link up (see my post here).
There is less in bloom in the fall so I end up taking pictures of the cool lilypads. We took our time to find all of the frogs in the little pond.
The large lily pads are so cool. For the first time I paid attention to the different stages of opening: very cool! Of course, I didn’t take a picture of that…
Fall time is a nice time to visit the botanical gardens especially before trees lose their leaves. A blue sky day makes it even better!
I think we got our money’s worth out of our membership this year, but we probably could have gone a few more times. I probably won’t renew it for a few years since it seems that we are busy this year more than usual either busy doing things or busy resting!
A bientôt!

I love seeing botanical gardens in the fall. It’s interesting how when there is less in bloom, you pay more attention to other things, like those lily pads. Lily pads are quite fascinating!

It was such a pretty day.

I enjoyed your post so much, especially your Froggy and lily pad photos. Thank you!

Thanks, Joan. The boys always loved finding the frogs: sometimes you think they are not there and then you noticed there are quite a few.

We were just talking how we haven’t used our botanical garden membership as much this year but it’s definitely a good cause and it’s such a cool place to go!!

That’s a good point about where your money goes even if you don’t take as much advantage of the membership as you had hoped.

What a beautiful place to visit. So peaceful and serene, just the place I’d love to spend a Saturday!

Yes, especially if I went without kids lol!

Those lily pad photos are so cool. I had to look closely to figure out which were the frogs! Does your membership have any reciprocal agreements with other places? Our Newfields membership allows us to go to other places for free. I think I just googled it to find places that did that.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This place does not as far as I know but it wouldn’t hurt for me to look. My membership did expire but I think I still have 2 complimentary tickets to use.

I’d really love to visit!!
