Shop my Closet, Fall 2023 Edition

Every once in a while, I stumble upon an outfit shopped in my closet that I absolutely love! Today, I am sharing 5 such outfits I wore this past month. After 7 and 1/2 week of a shopping fast, I have purchased a few things in the past few weeks: I had some spending cash burning a hole in my pocket and found some fun pieces to add. However, these outfits I am sharing today are combining things that I have had for at least a few months to more than 6 years.

Outfit details:

  • hand me down booties
  • gifted snakeskin purse
  • heirloom clock pendant

I love how this outfit has a little piece of my mom and of my grandma. I have been drawn to neutral outfits this fall and hope to come up with more ideas!

  • Amazon jeans, old
  • vest, TJmaxx summer clearance
  • beret, VivietMargot (bought on sale)
  • booties: at least 8 years old

Another neutral outfit that came unexpectedly: I had planned to wear this shirt with another pair of jeans, but I did not like the proportions so out came my skinny jeans. I still wear skinny jeans at least once or twice a week as they work really well with certain tops and shoes.

This is another outfit that started different but I adjusted as I got dressed. The top and jeans were thrifted while the Cabi corduroy jacket was acquired when my friend last purged her closet. My booties are several years old. The really cool necklace was from a blogger’s Etsy shop.

Here is another outfit with wide leg pants: I love seeing what I can pair with this yellow pair. A grey striped short sleeve top, grey shoes and a charcoal lightweight denim top worked out well. I even pulled out a pair of grey earrings.

A Sunday outfit for a cool fall day: I hadn’t worn my cropped cardigan yet and had been wearing for the right temperatures to wear it as a sweater. The leggings helped keep me warm and added coverage since the skirt has a high slit.

One of my favorite thrifted finds in recent years is this embroidered sweater: it reminds me to check all racks even larger sizes because you might find a gem! The fit and details are so pretty!
