My Favorite Fashion Posts of 2023
I was inspired to write this post after reading one IdoDeclaire shared and I was surprised how difficult it was for me to choose one favorite fashion post for certain months. Laura actually shared the posts that were most visited by her readers, but finding those analytics sometimes can be a little difficult, so I decided to share my own favorites. It reminded me how wonderful my closet is and I was quite impressed with myself for doing a good job for certain months with thrifting and shopping my closet. It gives me some incentive and a push to do even better this year.
January
I have only worn this thrifted skirt a handful of times, but it is so much fun! I think I will wear it next date night, probably in a couple of weeks if not next week!
February
Thrifted Look for less than $25
This was a fun outfit composed of thrifted pieces and a gifted pair of boots. The purse is not part of that $25 but otherwise, it sure is a thrifty outfit.
March
How to Wear Scarves in Early Spring
I like to share different ways to wear a piece of clothing and this was a fun post for me: it helped me think creatively.
April
This was such a difficult month as far as choosing a favorite: so many cute fashion posts to choose from. I will be revisiting my pictures come spring for some inspiration.
May
I love to think outside of the box with certain items and camo is not usually the print you associate with summer. This was a fun post to write.
June
I am definitely not one to blend in with the crowd when it comes to dressing my best for church. Sometimes my outfits are subdued and simple, but other times, I just want to wear something that I really like. Such is the case with this outfit: I loved it!
July
I just couldn’t choose just one! First outfit was a travel outfit idea (read here) and the second one, I just love because it is so summery and reminds me of France: White Dress and Bensimon Sneakers at the lavender farm.
August
I always love writing Inspired by posts: it allows me to shop my closet to recreate an outfit I hadn’t thought of.
September
Inspired by Jacqui at Mummabstylish
It’s another inspired by look! I absolutely love this white look!
October
What to Wear to a Birthday Party
This little exercise of choosing a fashion post per month as a favorite was more difficult than I thought it would be. I guess that is a good thing and it really is a push to tell myself that I really should limit my shopping in 2024. The only thing I can think of that I would like to add is some tops since those are lacking: I have a myriad of dresses, sweaters, skirts and pants (and shoes)! However, shopping has been a stress reliever (in moderation) so no promises!

Fall Outfit with Clara Sunwoo Liquid Leather Pants
2023 was a year with some brand collaborations and gifted items so it is a propos for me to share my look with the Clara Sunwoo liquid leather skinny pants. I always love taking pictures in the cotton fields so that was a bonus!
December
Waterfall Tulle Skirt: How Fun!
Last, but not least, one of my favorite clothing purchase of 2023: my red tulle skirt! It will be worn year round and I will definitely buy one more in 2024! I love this skirt and every time I wear it, I want to sashay when I walk!
A bientôt!

When I take a moment to enjoy it or look back at pics like this, I realize what treasures I have to put outfits together.

Pretty cool skirt, right! It’s actually kind of heavy because there is so much material.
