Outfit Inspiration with Blue Jacket: Colorful Jackets Part 1
This month, I decided to share outfit inspiration with some of the colorful jackets or blazers in my closet: most of the ideas will probably work with toppers of other colors in your closet. Hopefully, these posts will encourage you to put together some colorful outfits this spring. I really enjoyed tan and deeper colors this winter, but now I am ready to wear some color! I am sharing one new outfit for each of these as well as other ways I have worn the toppers in the past! I will feature a different jacket each Monday for the month of March.
Since the 2 ways I have worn the jacket in the past were with a skirt and over a dress, today I am sharing it with a pair of jeans!
I chose a pair of straight jeans that are cuffed and to keep the look casual added sneakers and a black sweater with stars. I am surprised I haven’t worn the jacket with pants yet! The sheen and cut of the jacket is pretty fun and this was a purchase influenced by a IG friend last year: thankfully I got it on clearance as it is one I do not wear often even though I like it!
I love looking back at pictures especially when I still have the pieces in my closet: that skirt is great for spring and I do love that blue dress!

I have way to many jackets and toppers for where I live, but I think they make outfits so much more interesting!

I love this shade of blue and it looks great on you! It’s a very interesting cut of jacket; I fear I would find it too stiff for myself but I do like how it adds structure to an outfit.

It’s definitely a different cut especially in the sleeves too: a little long and wider, and the jacket definitely has a sheen to it.
