Holiday Looks for Everyday

Today, I am sharing some outfits I wore this month where I tried to incorporate a little holiday spirit. You will notice a theme of pairing fun textured sweaters of different colors and types with mostly denim and the occasional scarf. I love wearing velvet and sparkles in December and January and one way to do that and not feel overdressed is to pair it with denim and relaxed shoes. So here are some of my favorite looks!

A velvet top I found for $1 thrifting! This is the cutest top with bell sleeves and so easy to wear. I plan to wear it with a skirt too, but it was easy to pair it with jeans and combat boots for an everyday look. The velvet bodysuit, I usually pair with a scarf since it is very fitted, but I sure love that color! Notice my Christmas decor: it ranges from 3 to 10 years old: the only thing new is this carpet I picked up at Aldi this year.

Most of my winter sweaters are grey, so I added both of these this year: the red one is a sweater from Gabe’s which is similar to Ross and the gold one was thrifted. My embroidered jeans are on repeat all fall and winter long.

For a change, I wore some non denim pants a few times. The first look was an outfit I wore to the local Nutcracker ballet. Texture is so fun to add in the winter to add interest!

I really love this scarf! It is so cozy! It’s the one I wear the most in the winter. It’s large enough to wear as a shawl too and the colors are really pretty.

A bientôt!
