Denim Jacket Alternative with Maxi Dress

When I originally planned my outfit for the botanical gardens earlier in April, I planned to wear a navy denim jacket with this dress. However, after reading Jodie’s post that week, I decided to change it up and wear this cardigan wrap my bestie made me on my visit to France in 2019. I love this wrap with its unique fabric, stretch and flow. The wrap was the inspiration for the accessories which were all in the tan family.

The rose pendant necklace was a hand me down from my aunt and the feather leather earrings were a gift from my mom. This tote from Amazon is great for trips and outings because it holds a lot.

My Oka B sandals were on repeat for at least a month since I was waiting for my blood blister to heal (from my half marathon) and I kept developing other blisters on my bunion. I finally found my bunion sleeve for running which protects that area of my foot and prevents rubbing.

It was fun finding colorful places to take pictures. This thrifted dress from a couple years ago is really comfy. It reminds me why dresses are a great options for summer.

I really do love this  wrap: it makes for an interesting silhouette, it is associated with memories of my friend and is unique. I love that it is a light tan color making it very versatile.

A bientôt!
