Inspired by Jodie from Jodie Touch of Style

I have been wanting to copy one of Jodie’s looks for quite a while as she is my style icon! Jodie (from JTouchofStyle) is my favorite fashion blogger out there! She always challenges me to try new combinations, to thrift and shop my closet and to have fun with color. She always answers my questions and has been a help in my blogging journey. I love how real she is and her blog is really a great place to find inspiration as she, her mom as well as her friend Lesley show how you can interpret a theme in your own personal way.

Today’s look was inspired by one of her winter white looks (with purple) and I adapted it to the weather we are experiencing in Georgia with lighter layers. I also found the perfect place to take pictures as the cherry blossom trees were in bloom.

After choosing which white pants I wanted to wear, I decided on a pair of earrings similar in shape to Jodie’s. Next I chose this scarf which had some of that coral color in the florals.

I really have worn my snakeskin booties more than I ever expected. Booties are really great for the southern states as we can wear them longer than boots. And the print of these lend themselves to adding a fun element to every outfit.

Blooming trees are beautiful and cherry blossoms do not smell as other blossoms down here and do not make us sneeze. I am so glad we chose to take pictures here!

I quite often forget how scarves can be used for more than one’s neck! These pants are loose around the waist and the scarf acted as a belt and added a touch of whimsy with the tassels.

This is the same white denim jacket I wore in my post last week. I will be wearing it as often as I can over the next couple of months before it gets too warm.
