A Few of my Favorite August Looks
Today I am sharing a few of my favorite outfits that I wore this past month. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen most of these or will see the rest of them next week. I am a little behind with sharing my daily outfits as I share my blog post outfits too! I have worn less dresses this month apart from church days and I have been drawn to my pants on days I know I will not be outdoors.
Pants
I am missing my pants! So I pull them out every once in a while even though it is still the middle of summer weather!
Skirts
I am always looking for new ways to wear what is in my closet. Love that first outfit for Sunday church and all white is always a winner.
Dresses
Tried to pull out some dresses I hadn’t worn yet this summer! First time wearing the blue one with sneakers. The waterfall cardigan was also a first with the yellow and blue dress. Both of those pieces are several years old, I think the blue cardigan is prior to my 7 year old!
Cropped Pants
One of my biggest goals fashion wise this year was to add different silhouettes in the pant/denim departement: I bought the wide legged crop jeans at Chicos and the other two pairs were consigment finds. I have reached for them once a week at least!
Shorts
Not so much into shorts this summer but I wanted to wear a black and white outfits and not wear pants nor a skirt so this was it! I had not worn this black top in a year: why, I ask myself? It is fun with that sleeve detail!

Oh, I do like the all white outfit. You’ve nailed it! I never seem to have much luck doing an all one color thing unless I’ve bought all of the pieces together. And, goodness, you have fabulous legs! I’d wear shorts all of the time if mine looked like that!

Thanks, for the compliment! I have been doing some walking, running and trampoline and might not help my muffin top but helps with my calf muscles lol! Just photographed the green pants for a post in September: so glad I have come across your blog!

Funny, becuase I have rarely worn shorts in past summers and have been wearing them almost non-stop this month. I do miss my pants though but it has been so hot here that I just can not bring myself to wear them.

Only wearing the pants when I am mostly inside. End of day I am pretty much drenched no matter what I wear.
