Knit skirt with a Graphic Tee

There are many definitions and types of knitted fabric! I chose this particular pencil skirt to share today because it is one of my favorite, it moves and stretches as needed and have several years of thrifting it, I still love the print! I have worn it with white and navy before but never with grey so in the interest of diversity of outfits, I chose this graphic tee to style it.

The earrings and tee pull some of the pink in the skirt and the sandals mirror the grey of the tee. I pulled out my grey and pink crossbody to tie it all together.

It’s funny how I never used to wear tshirts with skirts. I think it is probably because tees used to be more baggy and boxy and were not made of soft fabric. Nowadays you can find graphic tees right and left in different cuts and as soft as you would like them.

Skirts really can be as comfortable as any other bottoms: just choose a length and material appropriate for your activities. Shoeware is also important as it can dress your skirt up or down depending on the occasion.

This was a Saturday outfit which included blog writing, church and just spending time with my family.

Do you wear skirts? If you don’t, do you have a reason? We all have our own sense of style and preferences and I for one love variety. I am enjoying sharing these skirts this month and hope you are finding some inspiration to see what you haven’t worn in your closet or to try something new.
