Brindle Boutique Set, 2 ways

I always find it difficult to narrow down my choices and make a selection when I am doing a collaboration with a brand. Brindle Boutique kindly allowed me to choose an item for the end of summer to share with you all and I was so very tempted by the new fall looks. However, living here in Georgia, I knew it would be a couple more months before I could wear a cardigan (my 2nd choice) and while I was tempted by a pretty piece of jewelry, I wanted to choose something that I would get a lot of wear from. So I chose this pants/top set that also comes in tan and green. Since my favorite linen pants are tan, I decided to go with the black set as it would be more versatile than the green.

Wearing the set as a set

I do wear black in the summer but typically will pair it with a bright color, so to lighten up this set, I paired it with my tropical print crop top and a pair of sneakers. I am really considering bringing these pants along to the beach this fall: the material flows really nicely and it light.

The top provides extra protection from the sun if you are going to be out and I could use my Maggie Snaps magnets in different ways to create more looks with it. I am wearing an old pair of sandals from Payless! I haven’t worn these in a while so I decided to wear them yesterday for church.

Wearing the set as separates

Living in a warmer climate these pants will be wearable spring through fall. I can pair them with a light sweater on cooler days, a tee and a denim jacket… the possibilities are endless. Since we are in the middle of summer, I chose this colorful halter top and my Steve Madden studded sandals. I already have a few outfits that I want to create with these pants: I would love to pair them with my Chinese jacket and a pair of heels and also as a casual outfit with a graphic tee.
