The Perfect Thrifted Denim Dress

There is a little place in town that holds different booths that each person rent: you can find furniture, boutique items, second hand items and some antiques. I like to visit it about once a month, sometimes in search of something in particular like a lamp and other times just for fun. I decided to stop by in March for a quick see even though I wasn’t planning to spend on clothes and came home with this dress and a belt buckle (for a total of $13). This was the perfect denim dress and here is why it is the perfect dress.

The length is perfect: it can be worn with or without a belt (I will be styling it multiple ways soon) without becoming too short.

It is not too tight nor too loose which makes it the perfect comfortable fit. It has interesting details which means it can be worn on its own. The zipper, tab sleeves and front pocket are nice details.

The material is lightweight so the dress will be comfortable 3 seasons out of the year. For today’s outfit, I wore the dress with 2 different pairs of shoes, but ended up wearing the flat ones to church. I used one of my obi tie belt (2 belts sown together) to add some interest.

So despite being on a shopping break, I was so happy I found this dress! I have had several denim dresses in the past, but they have been either too tight or too loose or the material was too thick and I was never 100% happy with them.

A bientôt!
