Fun with Friends
I made time for friends the last couple of months, so I am sharing some of those moments here today. With our busy lives, sometimes it is hard to get together, but I love that we try to make time for each other. We become each other support systems, lend an ear, run a mile or seven, eat, laugh and cry together. I am very thankful for my friends. It doesn’t matter how we met, but how we keep connected and grow in our friendships.
Running Friends
The group looks different every Saturday depending at what time we run and everyone’s family schedule, but most weeks, I run on Saturday mornings with a group of 2 to 6 gals.
We’ve tried to go out to dinner as a group once a year, and sometimes we have a larger group than others. We shared a great evening in April and once again said we should do it more often. I am hoping to host a movie night at my house or maybe do some burgers one afternoon.
Many of us ran the Women’s 4 miler in Atlanta Mother’s Day weekend and had brunch together afterwards. I’ll be sharing more next week!
Blogging Friends
I met up with Kathrine and we visited the SCAD Fashion Museum in Atlanta followed by lunch. This was our second get together and it was really nice getting to know each some more.
IG Friends
I mentioned getting together with my friend Rachel mid April! I hope we will get together again this summer! I am visiting Jodie in July and will continue to run twice a week. I am going to have to work on walking more often this summer. Life was really busy in May and I was not consistent in reaching out to my two trusty walking friends. These times with friends have been really good for me to recharge and get away for the daily grind!

We went to a salad bar and even though we didn’t use our hands to make our salad, we were required to wear gloves to make our salads.
