How to Wear Scarves in Early Spring
The challenge to wear scarves with Jodie and I continued (visit part 1 here) and I took the opportunities to wear different scarves in new and old ways. I did take a couple days off so I have only 5 scarf outfits to share with you. I also was pleasantly surprised to find 2 scarves for 10c each at a small local thrift charity shop where items are very inexpensive. I returned the next day with cash and picked up some summer tops which had been lacking in my closet. I am sure most of them will make an appearance soon on the blog.
I enjoyed wearing my leopard scarf as a belt so much last week that I copied the look with a column of black and a different scarf.
We had one cold day so I wore my booties and warmer scarf one more time before putting them away. I used MyMaggieSnaps to keep my scarf in place all day. The beret hid my hair which needed to be washed!
Another colder weather outfit before I put away my booties and dark jeans, I paired a thrifted black button down denim shirt with my black jeans and an infinity scarf I made at a craft party about 10 years ago. I think one of the reasons I like this one this much is its thickness and the colors of the fleece.
My new to me 10c scarf! I love it because it combines one of my favorite colors at the moment (turquoise) and orange as well as several prints. I love this combo (I am wearing a denim dress from KancanUSA I won in a giveaway last year). I used a thrifted belt to create a fun waistline. This outfit received several compliments while I was out and about that day, and it made my day!
This is the other scarf I bought for 10c. I wore it as a church scarf that evening and loved the mix of prints it created. This was the first day I wore sandals this year!

Our weather is still very unsettled and temperatures are not high at 11-14C (51F-57F) so scarves are still worn for warmth. But it was good to see both you and Jodie wearing scarves in different ways

It was a fun challenge as I hadn’t worn them as much last year. I am loving wearing what I have in new ways.

I forget to style a scarf with a belt around it. I need to remember that one.

The 10c scarves were a great deal! I love checking out my local opshop when they have deals like that, I always end up buying so much, haha! But you’ve worn these new scarves (and the ones you already have) so well! I really need to be more adventurous with my scarves and try wearing them in different ways.

So cute! I love the first one where the scarf is draped over you and the headband is really original too! What a fun little challenge! It makes me want to get my scarves out asap!
