Inspired by Doused in Pink: Leather, Tan and Combat Boots

I have been inspired to replicate several of Jill’s (Doused in Pink) outfits over the years. One of them even included this same poncho here. You can see a look with plaid pants here and a rainbow skirt here. I love getting an idea on how to wear what I already have in a new way and that usually happens through a photo on IG or on Pinterest.

I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy wearing these skinny liquid leather pants from Clara Sunwoo! I started by thinking they would be more for dressy events, but turns out they are really perfect for daily outfits. Such a fun soft texture that really adds interest to whatever I decide to pair them with.

I have almost donated this poncho a few times because I don’t wear it much, but I do love the length of it and how versatile the tan is. It sure looks nice against the black!

Even in Georgia, we get some cold days and the fur on these combat boots is only where the laces are so my feet do not get too hot. I love the edginess of combat boots and I have worn these with skirts too.

I love my new vintage turquoise ring that I finally got at a local shop. A great statement piece of jewelry.!My mom reminded me how good it would look with my grandmother’s pendant necklace. I will have to pair them together at some point.

I always try to take advantage of a bright blue sky day like this for pictures. Our weather has been all over the place this January and this particular day, we had temperatures that went up to 60 followed by a stormy day and cold, cold weather.
