Skirt and Top Set: 3 Ways
I have bought a couple sets before and have not worn them much: one was a lounge set which I really only wear the sweatpants, but I do have a crochet skirt and sweater that I love as separates and as a set. On my trip to Arizona, I hit the jackpot at Just be Youtiful boutique. One of my buys was this pretty green set. I really thought I was done shopping, but then we saw the set on the mannequin and I just had to try it!

I had a lot of fun choosing accessories for my church outfit! I started out with my sandals and grabbed my wooden bead set to match. I knew I wanted to wear my cool belt from the boutique and decided that my French souvenir necklace (circa 2004) really matched it well.
This set is comfortable and while I thought I would need to steam it or iron it, after hanging it in my closet, the wrinkles really shook out.
Top and Shorts
The top is a little cropped but not too much, it is light and airy and I just love the color. I will be wearing it with pants, skirts and will be creating all kinds of outfits.
Skirt and Graphic Tee
I really love the drape of this skirt: it’s a lot of fabric but it is very light and really moves when you walk. Again, I went for a simple look for church and chose sneakers to change it up.
A bientôt!

I am so glad I left with it!

I’m so glad you got that set…it really is a keeper. I was trying to analyze what makes it better than most, and maybe it’s the fact that the top and bottom are enough different….The skirt has all those pleats which gives it a great textural design.
You hit gold on this one.

You really do look fabulous in this set. I’m not one for them, either, but this one is definitely a winner. I would probably never think to split them apart and wear them with other things. I really love this color on you, too!

That skirt has so many folds but feels really light. It just moves well and it is a set I do not regret.

That’s a beautiful color. I love the skirt, I used to have one like it (a long time ago ;-)) in a similar color.
Very nice set!

It is going to be fun with different jackets this fall.

What a great find. That green set sounds so versatile. You can tell it’s one of those pieces you’ll get so much wear out of, whether styled together or mixed into other outfits. I love how you accessorized it too. And the fact that it’s comfortable and low-maintenance is a win.

This is a beautiful set Mireille, I can see why you couldn’t resist it! It looks like you have already found several great ways to mix and match the pieces, as well as wearing them together. The set looks so light and comfortable, and I think it will probably be great to travel with-no wrinkles! Thanks for sharing and hope you enjoy all of your celebrations in September!

Yes, I think the wrinkles kind get hidden with the folds!

Thanks, Kathrine! I don’t wear that necklace often anymore, but it sure has some good memories associated.

The pieces look great together and split up – a great find! I really like this sage-y greyish tone of green, too – it’s neutral enough to pair easily with accent colors but interesting enough to wear alone or with other neutrals and still feel like it has “color”, plus it will take you easily across seasons.

Yes, the color was a winner. All of the color ways were actually really nice!
