Tulle and Faux Leather

It’s another inspired by outfit by Anne from France which I introduced to you earlier this month in this post. I have loved pretty much every outfit she has shared on Instagram and love how she usually photographs and films her outfits on the shore near where she lives, at least in the warmer months. It adds another whimsical element to her looks. I have thought of pairing my faux leather jacket with a tulle skirt before (I did in this post for an edgy holiday look), but pairing it with this particular ombre tulle skirt makes it even more whimsical.

I followed Anne’s color recipe for this outfit and paired a pale pink tulle skirt with black and a neutral golden top. The juxtaposition of the black “leather” with the fairy-like skirt is just perfection. I wore this to church on a cooler Sunday.

The Guess purse was one of my favorite birthday gift and that fun ring was a find on my anniversary trip. My Vivaia boots bookend the look.

I really enjoy putting together outfits in the fall because I can play with layers. Sometimes, it is hard to get them right and I have to change outfits in the middle of the day (at least the top half) so pairing a short sleeve top with a layer is a useful combination.

It does get harder getting pictures with the time change (sometimes it is too dark in the morning or the evening), but my kids are game with changing our habits a little to add money to their wallets!

A bientôt!
