OOTD at the Beach for Thanksgiving

I always like to have a loose theme when packing for a trip and I do tend to overpack when we take our trip to the beach, but I think I wore most of what I brought minus two scarves and my skort. This year, I planned my outfits with denim, stripes, blue and grey with a little burgundy thrown in. The weather was gorgeous and warm for the most part hitting mid 70s and the last 2 days were cold requiring some layers.

Travel Outfit

I only brought sneakers and one pair of flip flops on this trip and mostly wore my black and white ones. Next time, I will only bring two pairs.

Shorts

I am so glad I brought two pairs of shorts because it sure was warm enough to wear them. A pair of comfortable denim shorts is essential and these have been my favorite year after year. The thrifted striped pair is fun and very easy to style too.

Day and Night

Keeping with the stripes theme, I brought my thrifted striped pull on pants which worked for our bike ride and our casual dinner out.

Thanksgiving

I took a solo 9 mile bike ride (that is a selfie on a timer), then we took a 16 mile family ride before cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. My denim joggers are a great alternative to jeans.

Cold

I always love finding pretty spots for pictures and I have to at least take one picture on the beach. Seaside has quite a few Instagram worthy spots for pictures, so I took advantage of a few! I knew it would get cold so I had packed some sweaters, a sweatshirt and my thrifted shacket. I also had beanies for everyone in the car which came in handy on our cold Thanksgiving bike ride!
