Stripes with White

I thrifted this dress for $2 at the end of the school year, knowing I could wear it any day on its own, but could also layer with it. Today, I am only sharing it with white, but it will be soon on the blog with brights! The first thing that caught my eye was the brown stripes followed by the material which is a cotton blend. I like that the straps are not spaghetti straps even though I usually wear a strapless bra with it. Sadly, it does not have pockets, but the fit and feel is so perfect for summer, so that I don’t mind.

These sandals have been a great pair of neutral sandals this spring and summer. I like that they are slip-on, but have that extra wide strap that keep them in place and make them more substantial. I kept the accessories I wore for the day and for pairing it later on with turquoise!

You wouldn’t think it would be that difficult to find a white denim jacket that I like! Finally found this one this year (granted I only wanted to thrift one so the search took longer). The jacket has distressing front and back and I guess I need a blog post just to highlight its features!

While pairing something with white might sound a little basic, choosing white pieces that are unique make the outfit stand out instead of being average.

A bientôt!

Is this the dress you wore on the plane here?? Pockets aren’t always that hard to add…too bad we didn’t do that when you were here.
    So cute,

Love this outfit! The dress is so versatile and a great transition piece for summer to fall. I agree, it’s difficult to thrift a white denim jacket. I’ve been searching as well and in the interim I’ve been wearing a white cotton button down tied at the waist in place of one.
