Bright Colored Outfits for Summer

I am an equal color opportunity fashionista when it comes to wearing neutrals and bright colors in my daily outfits. I do go through phases when I am drawn to subdued colors while at other times, I crave colorful clothes. Thankfully, my closet is full of both. As summer settled in, I started reaching for my bright tops and decided to share some of my favorite daily outfits with you.

I wore this for a quick outing to our Saturday Farmer’s Market. I usually focus on not browsing (or I will spend too much money), but on this Saturday, the French bakery booth was sold out. I ended up picking some cupcakes at the cupcake shop which is right next to the farmer’s market.

This royal blue top matches my skort perfectly, so this was a repeat outfit: no need to create something new when something works so well!

Realizing that it had been a while since I wore my tulle skirt, I threw it on for Saturday night church and pulled out my embroidered top. Surprisingly, I don’t think I have ever worn these pieces together.

This top and skirt are also a combo made in heaven and again, I think this was the first time I put them together. The skirt is nice and stretchy and I wore it all day.

I bought these last year at TJMaxx and the silhouette is very similar to my red pants I shared recently on the blog.  I love the simplicity of a tank top with them and it’s a perfect look for a hot day.

I definitely have a variety of bright outfits to wear and create in my closet! I knew I would be wearing a Halftee (save with code MIREILLE20) when I bought this dress and often time wear a pair of white biker shorts under it too. Cute, but comfy and modest!

A bientôt!
