Waterfall Tulle Skirt: How Fun!
Do you remember my recent post where I featured a mustard skirt from Cato’s fashion? When I told my mom in law, I had come across a fun tulle skirt there, full price but affordable, she convinced me to return and try it on and buy it if it I liked how it looked. As you can tell by today’s blog post, it was a winner. I love the skirt and while I bought it thinking about the coming up holidays especially Christmas, I knew that the bright red would make it perfect year round.
As soon as I brought it home, I went on Pinterest for some inspiration on how to style it with items from my closet. Who doesn’t have a striped top? This one is a new one I bought a couple months ago and I love the square neck. I could have worn my snakeskin sneakers but I chose my white ones instead.
I packed this outfit to possibly wear on a date with the hubby while on our beach vacation, but since we did not go out for dinner, I had my son take some pictures in Watercolor. It was a bit chilly but bearable and the scenery was perfect for pictures.
I actually wore the skirt to church when we got back home with a light sweater and boots. I really love the waterfall style! I added some earrings made by someone local to me and bracelets I bought in town a couple years ago.
I know some people might think me a little crazy to wear this skirt on any regular day, but wearing something like this just makes me smile! My mom told me to go and be sassy all day and that is what I will do each time I wear it. She loves it, I love it!
I will be wearing this with a graphic tee come spring and I have a look in mind for Christmas mixing in some edginess with a black top and moto jacket.
Who owns a tulle skirt? Do you wear it only for special occasion or do you sometime pull it out to wear on a weekday?
A bientôt!

I have one in black with an elaticated waist, so comfey to wear. Like you I also wear it with boots, mine being black tall leather which compliments the skirt length.

That’s the thing. It’s important to wear the things that make us smile. And I consider tulle high on the list. Thanks for the inspiration to pull mine out. It’s been hanging alone for way too long,
