#7 day Skirt Challenge with Gail of Is this Mutton
Last time Gail (see her recap post here) suggested a 7 day skirt challenge it was during fall so I was happy to jump on the opportunity of challenging myself to wear skirts in winter for 7 days. It always is a little frustrating when you have an outfit in mind for a post and when you try it on, it really doesn’t look like you expected. This is what happened for this post. Disc Golf and Planning Birthday Parties
December and January are hard months on the wallet in our family. After Nativity (Christmas) come two birthdays, 10 days apart. On the 3rd day of our vacation, our planned activity inspired me for birthday party themes for my soon to be 8 and 11 year olds. Favorite Fall OOTD: Dresses and Skirts (Part 2)
I have to make more of a conscious effort to wear skirts and dresses in the cooler months but I usually wear them at least twice a week for church so I have enjoyed coming up with some layers to make all of mine weather appropriate. As I write this post and it is only mid December, I am thinking this might be a two part post. I have been wanting to style this cute little suede skirt for a post for a while and today is the day! Casual Beach Fall Outfit
I had to share these pictures before winter officially arrives! My son took these pictures for me on our last full day at the beach. That day turned out to me my favorite. It started with my daily coffee right after the sunrise (see my post here) and continued with the boys playing on the beach for a few hours that morning. I just sat back and enjoyed seeing them play and the views of the beach. Fall Beach Outfits Recap
I was very pleased with what I packed to the beach this year: I actually wore everything at least once. There were a couple of days where I changed what I wore based on the weather. The mornings were cool but most warmed up to the 60s and 70s. I went with a casual but put together vibe with graphic tees and sweatshirts and joggers and my camo pants.
