Olive for Summer with the August Sunday Showcase Link Up
When Ada sugested this theme, she mentioned olive for summer, olive street style and I had an idea in mind using the same black bodysuit but with an olive vest and white capri but just looking at it on the hanger made me think of fall. June Sunday Showcase: Dressed up Tunic for Summer and Link Up
For this month’s showcase, Ada (Elegance and Mommyhood) and I are dressing up our tunics. I think both of our tunics were advertised as dresses but for modesty’s sake we both wear them as tunics with leggings under them. Mine is from Old Navy and is about 3 years old but I have only worn it about 3 times usually for special occasions such as my anniversary date with my husband to a winery (here) and an award ceremony for my son. This month for Mother’s Day and our May showcase, Ada and I are sharing some white sundress! While Ada had several white dress in her closet, I had only one that I pull out about once a year or so so I went searching for a new one or two. Welcome to the April Sunday Showcase! I cannot believe it is already April! The boys have 5 more weeks to school after Spring break and it is will be summer time! As the new year starts and I take a look back at the past year and my spending in the clothing category, I am reminded that I need to make sure that what I do purchase is versatile and will be worn frequently.
