Outfit Inspiration: Fun Pants and Joggers for the Win
These outfits compile weeks 3 and 4 of my no shopping weeks. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying and following my weekly prompts. I think the key for me is that the themes are very broad and that I am following them for only 5 days of the week. I think I will add one more weekly theme for next week and will wear create outfits around my kimonos. Sweatshirts with Ageless Style Link Up
I had several ideas in mind for this post as I have a number of sweatshirts but ended up with a spur of the moment photoshoot last week on the day of my haircut. The trees are rapidly blooming and losing their blooms so I thought this bright yellow sweatshirt would be very appropriate for a bright sunny day and taking pictures near this tree would be perfect for spring. When Ada suggested wearing emerald green for this Sunday Showcase, I thought about my dark emerald green tank (which would be a little harder to style for the weather) and then this green dress from Target which is a more muted emerald green. One of the tips I have for shopping your closet successfully is to search for inspiration on Pinterest or Instagram while knowing what it hanging in your closet. If your closet is stuffed to the gills and you cannot see what you have, you may not be able to find inspiration that you can actually copy or replicate. 7 Days of Dresses: Winterizing your Dresses
For my 7 days of dresses challenge on Instagram, I shopped my closet and winterized them to fit the weather and my activities. Many times, I added a pair of leggings to shorter dresses especially if it was really cold and had fun adding different types of top layers to them.
